Curated dinners
Small tables, thoughtfully composed. Conversation is the programme — no panels, no pitching, no name badges.

Indigo Sable is a community for women founders and business owners, beginning in Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. We gather over curated dinners, honest peer conversations, shared learning and cultural experiences — and keep the relationships going long after the first introduction.

The intention
Indigo Sable is a founder’s house — a place where women who are building something can sit down together without performing.
Not a conference. Not a directory. Not another programme to complete. The house is organised around a handful of simple things: a good table, a considered guest list, honest peer counsel, and relationships that continue after the first meeting.
We are beginning locally, in Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. There is no physical clubhouse yet; gatherings are planned for hosted spaces around the region, and membership is still being shaped with the women who join us early.

II
Candid exchanges between founders and owners who understand the weight of building, across very different industries.
III
Practical sessions on subjects founders actually face — pricing, hiring, capital, operations and growth — shared peer to peer.
IV
Art, food, music and design, treated as serious ground for relationships rather than decoration.
V
Relationships that go beyond a first introduction — the follow-up coffee, the referral, the collaboration that comes a year later.

Who it is for
Founders and business owners across industries — from professional services, health and wellness, and creative work to retail, food, technology and beyond. There are no age or revenue thresholds; what matters is that you are building.
The house is culturally connected by design, with Black and Brown women founders central to how it is imagined, and welcoming to every woman who builds in that spirit.
How membership is envisionedThe room
Somewhere, there is a table where your ambition is ordinary — because everyone seated there is carrying something just as large.
Women who understand the scale of what you are building without needing it explained.
The questions you cannot ask on a panel, answered by people who have faced them.
Evenings shaped by art, food and music that feel like where you come from and where you are going.
What one woman opens, she can open for the table — and the table for her.
The founders
Shinavia McKinney, a strategist and licensed therapist, and Precious “Preciosa” Myers-Brown, a multi-hyphenated entrepreneur and innovation strategist, bring their experience and ambition to a shared belief: women deserve room to build, relationships that last, and opportunities to act on what comes next.
